Overview

   We are currently working with a leading employer within the successful West Yorkshire based Financial Services sector, currently seeking to expand their Credit Risk division. Joining a growing team, as Credit Stress Testing Analyst, the mainstay of your role will be to develop and maintain scenario analysis and stress testing of credit exposures.

Main Duties

 Specific duties will include:

• Developing and maintaining the stress testing framework
• Providing timely scenarios analyses of credit exposures, across the residential lending, commercial lending and lifetime mortgage exposure
• Undertaking stress tests of the portfolios under defined economic scenarios
• Providing reverse stress test analyses
• Producing quarterly analyses based upon various economic scenarios 
• Production of stress test inputs into the ICAAP process
• Enhancement of stress testing modelling capabilities
• Providing support to Credit Risk Analysts in the production of both regular and ad-hoc credit risk analyses
• Undertaking timely analyses into the credit risk exposures, reporting the results to senior Management

 

Key Skills

To fulfil the role, you must be highly numerate with excellent communication skills, and have a strong knowledge of Oracle, strong Excel skills, excellent communication skills and experience using SAS would be a distinct advantage. 

You must have had exposure to portfolio stress testing and scenario analysis within Financial Services, and have a background including experience of Credit Risk Analytics.

Salaries will be negotiable depending on experience, but up to around £30,000.
