Overview
We are currently working with one of the leading lights in the West Yorkshire Financial Services sector, currently seeking to bolster their team with the recruitment of an Assets and Liabilities Analyst.Main Duties
You will join a growing division of this market leading business, with main duties and responsibilities including:
- Investigation, analysis and reporting on the balance sheet risks
- Examining various risks to the business, including:
- Interest rate risk
- Market risk
- Foreign currency risk
- Liquidity risk
- Wholesale credit risk
- Development of strategies for the on going management of risks
- Preparation of management information packs for ALCO meetings
- Reporting on liquidity, conducting relevant stress testing
Key Skills
In order to be considered for the Senior Assets and Liabilities post, you will need to have:
- At least 4 years experience working within an Assets and Liabilities / Treasury function within a Building Society or Retail Bank
- An in-depth understanding of Asset and Liability management techniques
- Knowledge of FSA liquidity risk reporting requirements
- Very strong analytical skills and abilities
- A relevant professional qualification is desirable
