Overview

   A newly-established and rapidly expanding small accountancy practice, with offices in Wakefield, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the existing small team of professionals at their offices and take a lead in the provision of accountancy and taxation services to an existing (acquired) client portfolio.

Main Duties

 As Senior Accountant your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of accounts for limited companies,limited liability partnerships, partnerships & sole-traders
  
• Preparation of management accounts
• Preparation and online submission of Annual Returns 
• Preparation of income tax returns
• Preparation of partnership tax returns
• Preparation of corporation tax returns
• Dealing with client queries 
• Supervision of junior staff.
• Incorporation of limited companies, including vat registration, PAYE Scheme set up & dealing with forms CT41G
  

Key Skills

 In order to be considered for the role of Senior Accountant you will need to have/ be:

• ACA/ ACCA part-qualified/ qualified (other CCAB) or qualified by experience
• Previous experience within accountancy practice (minimum 3 years)
• Statutory accounts preparation experience (ideally with SMEs and owner-managed businesses
• Hard-working and enthusiastic
