Overview

A very rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mortgage Sales Manager or a Senior Mortgage Broker or Senior Mortgage Adviser wishing to move into a supervisory role within a well-established estate agency managing a team of 4 fully CeMAP qualified Mortgage Brokers as well as writing own mortgage business.

Main Duties

An excellent and rare opportunity has arisen for a Mortgage Sales Manager or a Senior Mortgage Broker or Senior Mortgage Adviser wanting to move into a supervisory role managing a team of 4 experienced CeMAP qualified Mortgage Brokers.

As well as managing the team of Mortgage Brokers you will also be required to write mortgage, protection and insurance business as well as to lead, develop and supervise the team of 4 Mortgage Brokers ensuring that all advice given is compliant and meets the FSA’s rules and regulations as well as optimising written business across the team. Approx. 75% of your time will be writing Mortgage Business.

You will highlight areas of improvement for the team of mortgage brokers and recommend and develop appropriate training and development plans to enable the Mortgage Brokers to meet and exceed the standards required by the company as well as maximising the Mortgage Brokers potential and to be responsible for managing the development of Mortgage Brokers through all the stages of the performance management system.

Key Skills

Applications will only be considered from CeMAP or FPC and CeMAP Bridge or CF1 and CF6 or MAQ qualified Mortgage professionals and be able to demonstrate a proven, successful business writing performance over a sustained period ideally within in an Estate Agency environment. You should also be able to demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to lead from the front in driving high standards and best practice.
