Overview
We are currently working with a leading Manufacturing sector client in the Pontefract region, currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant thanks to an internal promotion.Main Duties
You will join a growing department, with the main objective being the production and analysis of key financial data within the organisation, ultimately ensuring that managers receive timely, accurate and relevant information.
- Specific responsibilities will include:
- Production of monthly management accounts, in a timely and accurate fashion
- Provision of supporting commentary to the monthly accounts
- Assisting in the preparation of cashflow forecasts
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets
- Investigation of variances against budget
- VAT / Intrastat
Key Skills
To fulfil the role, you will ideally be either a part qualified accountant nearing full qualification status, or you will be a newly qualified finance professional.
