Overview

   A global professional accounting, valuation and technology specialist are currently seeking a Forensic Manager to add to their outstanding team. Working with insurance, legal, corporate and public sector clients the successful candidate will evaluate economic damages and determine financial value, wherever needed and whatever is being claimed.

Main Duties

As a Forensic Accountant Manager you will be expected to:

 

•           Carry out the review of insurance claims and litigation claims on behalf of Insurers, Loss Adjusters, Lawyers and others.

•           Be flexible and responsive to client needs, in particular being available for meetings at times and places stipulated by the client.

•           Travel locally and world-wide to carry out the review of claims.

•           Work long days with early and late meetings.

•           Work to tight deadlines.

•           Develop clients.

•           Prepare legal reports, participate in legal conferences with lawyers and their clients and act as an expert witness.

 

Key Skills

 In order to be considered for the role of Forensic Manager you will need to have:

 

·         ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or other CCAB equivalent qualification) qualified with up to 5 years post-qualification experience and already have forensic/investigative/claim calculation experience.

·         Languages and/or proven expertise in a relevant related field such as share valuation, IP or matrimonial disputes or expertise would be an advantage. 

 

In addition, the following personal qualities are also required:

·         Ability to spot the unusual and tenacity to discover the cause.

·         Willingness to look at detail, without missing or losing the ‘big picture’.

·         Readiness to accept that everything one does will be challenged.

·         Confidence to handle confrontation, pressure and deadlines.

·         First and foremost this company’s forensic accountants must also have the mind-set of an investigator
