Overview

   We are currently working with a leading employer within the successful West Yorkshire based Financial Services sector, currently seeking to expand their Credit Risk division. Joining a growing team, your main responsibilities will be supporting the Credit Policy Manager, providing ongoing credit risk monitoring and embedding the Policy rules within the Strategy Manager (Transact) decision tool.

Main Duties

 Specific duties will include:

• Being part of the implementation project team to integrate Strategy Manager (Transact) within the lending application decision process  
• Maintain a consistent alignment of the Lending Policy and (Strategy Manager (Transact) system, including champion / challengers
• Identifying and promoting enhancements and wider utilisation of the Strategy Manager (Transact) system
• To develop and enhance Policy monitoring MI, to identify risk characteristics, potential issues or trends in new lending
• To develop / enhance the medium term forecasting model, taking into account recent trends, product and Policy changes.
• Full awareness of and conformance with all IT and information security policies and procedures.
• Ensuring sensitive and confidential data is managed appropriately at all times, encrypted and password protected as directed by policies.
• Ensuring potential or actual breaches of IT and information security policies and procedures are escalated immediately.

Key Skills

To fulfil the role, you must be highly numerate with excellent communication skills, and have worked with Strategy Manager (Transact) for at least 12 months. Excellent statistical and excel skills are essential, with the ability to manipulate large data sets, querying extensive databases. 

SQL skills would be an advantage, as would experience working with Oracle. 

Summary

Salaries will be negotiable depending on experience, but up to around £30,000.
