Overview
We are currently working with a leading employer within the successful West Yorkshire based Financial Services sector, currently seeking to expand their Credit Risk division. Joining a growing team, your main responsibilities will be assisting in the design, review and monitoring of the credit scorecards. You will also play a part in the development and maintenance of data systems for credit risk purposes, production of required credit risk management information and development and maintenance of credit risk models.Main Duties
Joining a growing team, your main responsibilities will be assisting in the design, review and monitoring of the credit scorecards. You will also play a part in the development and maintenance of data systems for credit risk purposes, production of required credit risk management information and development and maintenance of credit risk models.
Specific duties will include:

Maintenance and development of data systems required for the calculation of risk weighted assets under the Basel II Standardised approach and all relating MI.

Maintenance of external data metrics required for credit risk monitoring.

Maintenance and development of systems to produce the output of Baseline credit risk models and reconciliation of the data model outputs

Production of data files required for the application scorecard
-
Delinquency monitoring of the residential lending portfolio

Ongoing Monitoring of the performance of credit scorecard models.

Development of complex, accurate and timely lending portfolio risk reports including scenario testing.

Development of MI appropriate for the standardised approach.

Development and maintenance of models required for scenarios analysis and stress testing of the lending portfolio

Development and maintenance of other models where credit risk measures are involved.

Documentation of all data systems developed for credit risk purposes

Documentation of all MI reports processes and procedures.

Documentation of all Model Developments

Full awareness of and conformance with all IT and information security policies and procedures

Ensuring sensitive and confidential data is managed appropriately at all times, encrypted and password protected as directed by policies

Ensuring potential or actual breaches of IT and information security policies and procedures are escalated immediately
Key Skills
To fulfil the role, you must be highly numerate with excellent communication skills, and have worked within a credit risk role previously.
Salaries will be negotiable depending on experience, but up to around £30,000.
