Overview

   A rapidly expanding regional independent accountancy practice with offices throughout Cumbria, is seeking a Client Relationship Manager (equivalent to Accounts & Audit Manager) to join their team of professionals at their office in Carlisle.


Main Duties

 

As Client Relationship Manager (Accounts & Audit Senior) your responsibilities will include:

  • to take a lead in the provision of exciting, innovative and consultative client services
  • manage own portfolio of  clients
  • management and allocation of client workloads 
  • sign off and assist  with preparation of annual statutory accounts both at clients and in office;
  • to train and mentor trainee accountants in the practical aspects of preparation of accounts;
  • to lead audits for companies, both at clients and in office;
  • to undertake ad hoc projects for clients (e.g. management accounts, budgets, etc)
  • other work to provide the services expected. 
 
The role has particular importance, as it relates to a crucial section of clients within the firm.

Key Skills

 To be considered for the role of Client Relationship Manager you will need to have:

  • A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ ACCA/ ATT/ other CCAB) or qualified-by-experience
  • Experience of Auditing clients
  • Statutory accounts preparation experience
  • A good grounding in Personal and Corporate Tax and VAT
  • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice at Senior or Manager level
