Main Duties

 As Audit & Accounts Senior your responsibilities will include:

• assist with the managers with preparation of annual statutory accounts both at clients and in office;
• to assist and train trainee accountants in the practical aspects of preparation of accounts;
• to lead audits for companies, both at clients and in office;
• to undertake ad hoc projects for clients (e.g. management accounts, budgets, etc)
• other work to provide the services expected.

This well-established firm of accountants has a broad range of clients across a diverse range of sectors including: sole-traders, partnerships, owner-managed businesses, limited companies and charities. Turnovers range from hundreds of thousands, into the tens of millions of pounds.

Key Skills

 In order to be considered for the role of Audit/ Accounts Senior you will need to have:

• Studying for or qualified in a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ ACCA or other CCAB) or qualified by experience
• Experience of Auditing clients in the range of £1m to £20m
• Statutory accounts preparation experience
• A good grounding in Corporate Tax and VAT
• Managerial or supervisory experience
