Responsibilities/ Achievements:

  • Working within a manufacturing environment, turnover circa £20million, responsible for all aspects of Purchase Ledger and Payroll
  • Ensuring efficient operation of the Purchase Ledger function, receiving around 50 invoices per day
  • Matching up of all invoices with delivery notes and purchase orders
  • Coding with relevant nominal codes and cost centres, seeking relevant approvals, and posting on SAP
  • Performing monthly suppliers’ payment run by BACS, making national and international payments in a range of currencies
  • Responsible for the Payroll for the Company using Sage Line 50
  • Collating information from time sheets and clocking in reports for 107 employees on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Inputting the information into Sage and setting up deductions for third parties such as CSA and HMRC
  • Processing SSP, SMP, SPP, and P45’s, and performing Year End submission
  • Making wage payments by BACS to employees, distributing wage slips
