This candidate is an exceptional ACA qualified accountant, currently immediately available following relocation with their partner to the Carlisle area of the UK. 

Looking ideally for permanent employment, but willing to consider contracts as well, they have excellent experience within Financial and Management Accounts, strong all round finance abilities which they can combine with strong communication skills. 

Until recently, they worked for a large blue chip company in the Yorkshire area, and can safely say that they are one of the strongest immediately available candidates in the area. 

• Excellent knowledge of SAP, Excel, Word and Quantum treasury system.
• Very self-motivated and a hard working team player.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate develop and support other staff.
• Outstanding analytical skills developed as an auditor and progressed into current role, with the ability to analyse and solve potential problems.
• Experienced in accounts preparation and conversant with disclosure requirements required under UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Recognises the importance of excellent customer service, and continually identifies and implements ways to improve customer experience and meet business needs.
• Construction of monthly, quarterly and annual management reports to Group head office in IFRS to tight deadlines. 
  Responsible for producing the large UK Corporate Companies statutory accounts, and the review of all statutory accounts prepared by other team members.
• Leading point of contact for auditors ensuring that all information is available on time for quarterly audits and year end audits.
• Responsible for producing financial forecasts thereby collating and reviewing information from a variety of sources throughout the world wide business. This includes liquidity forecasts and budgets.
• Mentoring, training and reviewing of trainee accountants and sandwich year students.
