This is a CIMA qualified Financial Controller, with more than twenty years’ experience in senior financial positions, mostly within the Manufacturing and Engineering sectors.
They have worked at board level, and are equally at home in a managerial strategic position, or in a hands on financial production role. They have led their current business through a period of significant growth in an extremely competitive sector, with 100% rise in turnover in 2 years, the company also increasing headcount by over 200%.
The candidate is immediately available, is flexible to a point on salary sought, and is considering both temporary and permanent employment in the area.
Responsibilities/ Achievements:
Responsibility for all finance matters for a range of companies organised in a group structure, including:
- Management accounts
- Standard costing systems
- Variance analysis
- Budgets and forecasts
- Due diligence
- Cash flows
- Extensive working capital experience
- Group consolidations
- Statutory reporting
- Process improvements
- Overseeing a period of exceptional growth, leading to a significantly increased turnover, share price and staff numbers
- Involvement at board level, determining future strategy
- Strong demonstrable experience gained within working capital management and margin improvements
- Directly leading teams of up to 30 staff, multi site
