This is an ACCA qualified finance professional with more than ten years’ experience in finance in both a large facilities management plc and smaller owner managed companies.
They have worked alongside Finance and Managing Directors and have a vast amount of experience in management accounts, annual budgeting, cashflow management, payroll and statutory/group reporting. They have also managed teams ranging from 3 staff to 12 staff at all different levels from Admin Assistants to Management Accountants undergoing their studies.
With a very stable work history, employed by only 3 companies in the past 14 years, they are unfortunately in the process of being made redundant, following the relocation of the finance function out of the Yorkshire area.
Responsibilities/ Achievements:
• Management accounts, annual budgeting, cashflow management, payroll and statutory/group reporting
• Variance analysis and commercial insight
• Integration of 3 smaller business units into one large division
• Annual savings of £120k achieved through process improvements
• Reducing month end from 7 days to 3
• Commercial financial contract analysis
