An AAT finalist, with 4 years’ experience in practice. This candidate has a stable CV, having worked for the same independent practice for four years. They are still very early in his career and are focused on development of their career further, having been first attracted to accountancy after a work placement. This person has experience of payroll production for firms with up to 50 employees and bookkeeping work for firms turning over hundreds of thousands of pounds. They are now looking to take the next step in their career with a progressive organisation which will offer them the opportunity to develop and improve their skills and experience.

• Over 4 years’ experience in a small independent practice
• Client experience, of  t/o up to £1m 
• Good payroll experience (both monthly and weekly)
• All areas of bookkeeping experience relating to SMEs across a wide range of business sectors
• Responsibility for production of VAT returns
• Assisting in the production of year-end accounts
• Regular liaison with clients
• Experience of chasing debtors for credit control purposes
• Software used includes Sage Accounts Production, Sage Payroll, MS Excel
