A part-qualified ACCA accountant, this candidate is a highly intelligent and capable individual with a very likeable personality. They have worked with one firm (albeit under two different owners), since the outset of their career in accountancy. This individual has strong experience of the owner-managed/ SME sector of clients, with their experience particularly focused on statutory & management accounts and corporate & personal tax work. They feel that opportunities for further development of their skills and experience are limited with their current firm and are therefore seeking the next step in their career.

• Over 7 years’ experience in an independent  Yorkshire practice
• Client experience, of  t/o up to £6m 
• Own portfolio of clients
• Extensive experience of Statutory Accounts production
• Strong Management Accounts experience
• Exposure to wide range of client sectors, including charity, construction, import/export as well as non-specialist sectors
• High exposure to VAT and Corporation Tax returns
• Production of Personal Tax returns including some HNW work
• Experience of weekly and monthly payroll production
• Software used includes Iris, Sage Line 50, Sage Payroll, MS Excel
