An ACCA qualified accountant, with over 20 years’ experience in practice and a very stable CV. This person has excellent experience of Statutory Accounts Preparation, Taxation and Audit. The vast majority of their experience has related to owner-managed businesses and SMEs. This candidate is a highly experienced individual who demonstrates a strong commitment to their career in general practice, as well as being able to demonstrate a high level of loyalty. As a result of the takeover of their last firm, they are immediately available for work.

• Over 20 years’ experience in established independent & Big 4 accountancy practices
• Recent statutory accounts experience, of client  t/o up to £3m 
• Extensive experience of the North Yorkshire/ North East market 
• Auditing clients in Financial Services and other sectors
• Strong Corporate, Personal and VAT experience with particularly strong Tax Investigation skills/ experience
• Responsibility for a portfolio of clients
• Work-flow planning for teams; reviews of approach to jobs
• Managed/ supervised accounts and audit teams
• Experience of wide range of business sectors
• Management Accounts production and Payroll experience
• Software used includes Sage, Viztopia, Drumohr Tax Assistant, Mercia Audit System, MS Excel
