An ACA newly-qualified accountant, with 3 years’ experience in practice and a very stable CV. This candidate has good experience across Audit, Accounts Preparation and Taxation (with a heavy bias towards Audit). The vast majority of their experience has related to owner-managed businesses/ SMEs, charities and public sector. This person has a very approachable and professional manner. They now wish to take a step into more specialised areas of accountancy. Areas of particular interest are: Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Business Modelling, Corporate Recovery and Business Advisory
Responsibilities/ Achievements:
• 3 years’ UK experience in a Top 20 accountancy practice
• Prepared statutory accounts for businesses turning over up to £20m from trial balance
• Auditing clients up to £40m t/o
• Good Corporate Tax and VAT experience
• Managed/ supervised audit teams
• Experience of internal audit assignments
• Experience of wide range of business sectors
• Audit experience includes SAR, charity, CIS, pension schemes, grants and impex specialisms; as well as experience of a wide range of non-specialist sectors
• Excellent communications skills
