An ACA qualified accountant, with over 15 years’ experience in practice within both independent and Big 4 firms. This candidate has strong experience across Statutory Accounts, Management Accounts, Taxation and Audit. The vast majority of their experience is related to owner-managed businesses and SMEs, turning over up to c. £3m across a very wide range of sectors, including the key accountancy and audit specialisms. This individual is a highly motivated person, wishing to develop their career within a modern and progressive practice
Responsibilities/ Achievements:
• Over ten years training (and beyond) with a Big4 firm
• Currently working for a well-established independent (for over ten years)
• Prepared annual accounts and audited for businesses turning over up to £3m
• Performed audits for businesses turning over up to £3m
• Experience of wide range of business sectors, including construction, medical, legal, charity, and financial services
• Extensive management accounts and accounting systems experience
• Strong corporate and personal tax and VAT experience
• Implementation, management and training of Sage systems
• Management, training and mentoring of staff
• Experience of Sage, Viztopia, Alphatax, Caseware and Excel
