An ACCA newly-qualified accountant, with 5 years’ experience in practice and a stable CV. This candidate has good experience across Audit, Accounts Preparation and Taxation. The vast majority of their experience has related to owner-managed businesses/ SMEs and charities. This person has a very approachable and professional manner. They are able to demonstrate a commitment to their career in general practice. This individual is seeking to move to a new firm in order to be able to further develop their skills and experience – particularly in the areas of audit and taxation (which they would be interested in specialising further in).
Responsibilities/ Achievements:
• 5 years’ UK experience in independent accountancy practices
• Prepared statutory accounts for businesses turning over up to £3m
• Prepared client management accounts
• Auditing clients up to 3m t/o
• Good Corporate Tax and VAT experience
• Experience of wide range of business sectors
• Personal tax compliance skills and experience
• Produced weekly payrolls of up to 10 staff
• Self-funded own ACCA studies
• Experience of Sage Line 50, Quickbooks, IRIS, MYOB and MS Excel
