An ACCA qualified accountant, with over 25 years’ experience in practice and audit services. This candidate has particularly strong experience in audit, business development, corporation tax and customer dispute reporting. With additional exposure to managing large teams, this candidate has undertaken extensive work caseloads across a range of sectors with turnovers of between £100k and £80m but more typically working with SME’s of £5m - £20m. This highly accomplished individual is a professional and credible candidate and is now considering partner-level opportunities in the North West.

• Extensive experience in independent general Practice
• Strong business development experience
• Very strong audit experience including ‘high risk’ and detailed reporting into Boards of Directors
• Statutory and management accounts preparation and submission
• High levels of exposure to corporation tax including asset acquisition planning, group relief and XBRL
• Exposure to preparation of payroll and VAT returns
• Experience of a wide range of business sectors, including IT, engineering, pension, partnerships and professional services industries
• Very strong background in management, mentoring and training of teams
• Responsibility for audit and accounting standards compliance procedures
